Stuv Double Sided Stove in Winchester
In building an extraordinary extension to their house, this client not only knew that they wanted a solid fuel fire between the two new rooms and but also a statement piece. The client asked The Billington Partnership to help them in their quest to find the appropriate fire that could adorn the two rooms. After looking at their requirements, size of room and budget we recommended the Stuv double sided stove (21/75) with fully retractable doors.
To enable the Stuv to be installed we also specified the 250mm ID twin wall flue system. We built this inside the brick chimney.
The Stuv double sided stove features a large viewing ‘see through’ glass with a discrete frame. For a real open fire atmosphere, you raise up the glass door. Lower the glass door and you have all the advantages of a really efficient clean burning stove. It also has a simple sliding control for the airwash system to operate the fire and keep the glass clear.
