Riva2 1050 Balance Flue Fire in Hammersmith, London
This large Riva2 1050 balance flue fire installation project was carried out for a client of Annabel Vail, the renowned interior designer.
Annabel came to The Billington Partnership looking for a ‘wow’ factor fireplace in the garden room of the huge house refurbishment she was doing in Hammersmith. After much deliberation, she chose the Riva2 1050 balance flue fire from Gazco. To compliment the fire she chose the limestone Sorrento frame. This would give the feature the clients were looking for as well as an efficient and warm fireplace.
As the images show, the installation was not straightforward hence the choice of a balanced flue system. Working in partnership with Hennerton Construction who were the main contractors, we designed and specified the route for the flue system.
The installation took one week to complete. First of all we installed the fire and flue system. Then the contractor built the chimney breast to the manufacturers specification. Consequently we returned to complete the installation of the Sorrento surround and the Riva2 1050 gas fire.
The end result was stunning. We do not have an image of the final fireplace so we have used the Gazco brochure image to indicate the finished fireplace.
