Stovax Stockton 5 Stove in Addlestone, Surrey
This project was carried out in Addlestone, Surrey. Recommended by a previous client, the client was looking to gain some much needed heat in their new Victorian style house.
The Billington Partnership showed the client a selection of 5kw stoves to choose from. The client really liked the Stockton 5 stove from Stovax. First of all, for this installation, we had to organise scaffolding to gain access to the chimney. Following this we removed the existing mantel to recycle. Then, we cleared out the opening and rendered the chamber for the client to paint at a later date.
Finally, we reinstated the mantel and added to it some new slate slips and then installed the stove.
